Well for me this is what I ate Tuesday as I thought I would get in there early since I’m somewhere high up in the sky on my way to Florence right now.
What I Worked Wednesday Tuesday…
Yesterday morning I decided to try out a new podcast from . This time I tried the sun salutation video, which I did find a little less challenging compared to the other podcasts that I have tried in the series Around lunch time I also fitted in a short run 4.1 miles in 43 minutes. It wasn’t my best run, perhaps due to the time of day. I always find that I run my best super early in the morning.
What I did Wednesday Tuesday…
I spent all day rushing around like a mad woman on adrenaline trying to get everything ready for my Florence trip. Of course I packed lots of snack bars to keep me going just in case, small cartons of soya milk, persimmons, cherries and some of my favourite magazines. I think I have everything covered on the magazine front- running and fitness, fashion, articles and gossip. 😀
I also took delivery of my giveaway prize that I won over at blog…
…it’s jammed packed of so many awesome goodies. I cannot wait to try the raw nut butter and the Om Bar raw chocolate, both of which I haven’t tried yet. Thank you so much Sarah!! 😀
What I ATE Wednesday Tuesday…
For breakfast I raided was craving for some oats with lots of volume and toppings…
This creamy bowl of loveliness contained 1/2 cup of oats, 1/2 scoop of s and cream powder, 1/2 cup of rice milk, 2 cups of water, topped with dried cranberries, crumbled cacao bliss and pecan nuts. The s and cream protein powder tasted great in my oats…is there nothing that it doesn’t taste good in?!?!?
Over the last couple of days I have been trying to use up most of my veggies as I know Alfie certainly won’t eat them. For lunch I made a huge salad beast that included water cress, mixed leaves, edamame beans, reed pepper, red pepper, tomatoes, courgettes, celery, olives and sun blushed tomatoes. This tasted lovely especially when loaded with some pesto and watered down to make a sauce.
Snackage was a Nakd bar and another gigantic persimmon. I don’t what they are feeding the persimmons at the moment, but the ones i keep picking up are all as big as my head! 😀
Dinner included more mixed veggies. This time water cress, edamame beans, roasted aubergine, grated carrots with olives, sun blushed tomatoes and vegetarian mozzarella. I defrosted some falafels that I had hiding in the freezer and added them too with some toasted pita bread topped with my tahini and sweet chilli sauce.
WOW this was good!!!
Strawberries dipped in Alpro dark chocolate pudding made the perfect dessert….yum!!! 🙂 I loved the bitter taste of the pudding-you really cannot taste the fact that it contains no dairy products.
Well I’m away for a week now in Florence. I had such an early start this morning to catch my flight- 5 am wake up call! I do have some great posts lined up so keep an eye out for those. 😀
