For years I ate my meals with fear and anxiety because I worried about gaining weight. I over-exercised, had low self-esteem and hated the way I looked. Learning to love myself, take care of me and heal my relationship with food hasn’t been easy and it’s still a work in progress.
What has been the game-changer for me is finding my own version of balance in life, work, relationships and food choices. I no longer restrict what I eat, I eat freely and enjoy every mouthful. These days I move my body because I love it, not because it’s something that I should be doing to get skinny. My mindset has completely shifted and I’m a happier and more positive person because of it.
