Full of autumn flavour with the extra nutrition from the grated carrot this bowl of porridge is a wonderful start the day.

  • 50 g /1 cup porridge oats
  • 1 carrot grated
  • 500 ml almond milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • handful of walnuts
  • handful of raisins
  • Drizzle of maple syrup
  1. Put your oats into a saucepan with the milk and cook on a gentle heat for about 10 minutes.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients into the pan and stir together.
  3. Cook for a further 10 minutes and serve.
  4. Drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle with your favourite toppings.
